I'm here to share my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. My third order from this company turned into a nightmare. Their site promised “eligible for next day delivery,” so I paid the $19.95 fee. Hours later, I received an email stating my order would take “3 business days.” This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because they clearly failed to provide the service I paid for, and their communication was completely unacceptable.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, and your email says it will take 3 business days. What's going on? CS Rep: I understand your frustration. It seems there was a discrepancy with the delivery estimate. I sincerely apologize for the confusion this has caused. Let me look into your order details right away. Customer: This is ridiculous. I tried calling, and it was just automated. Your live chat is a bot. I've sent emails and gotten no response. I specifically paid for next-day delivery, and you're not providing it. I want my $19.95 delivery fee refunded. CS Rep: I truly apologize for the difficulty you've experienced reaching us and for the lack of response to your emails. That's certainly not the experience we want for our customers. I can confirm your order was placed with next-day shipping, and I will escalate this immediately to our billing department to process a full refund for your $19.95 delivery fee. Please allow 3-5 business days for this to reflect on your statement. Customer: So, the shipping fee will be refunded, but my glasses still won't be here tomorrow, right? What about the delay, especially since they're Plano lenses with no prescription, so there's no "production" delay? CS Rep: That is correct; the refund for the shipping fee will be processed. Regarding your glasses, despite the express shipping choice, there was an unexpected delay in processing at our warehouse. I will personally monitor the updated tracking for you and send you an email with the most current delivery estimate as soon as it's available. Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the misleading initial delivery promise.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and experiencing such dishonest service and non-existent customer support.
