My Shopping Nightmare 📉: Price Dropped $32 Instantly & The Customer Service Was a Bot!
I'm writing this as a warning because my online shopping experience was an absolute nightmare. I thought I'd found a great deal, but moments after I paid, the price dropped significantly. This whole ordeal has convinced me of one thing: I am warning you, do NOT use this company. Yes, their prices are good, but they can change them at any minute and a new customer will be ripped off because as soon as you place the order your same product will be $32 cheaper! You can contact them only through chat. It is a bot because I was repeatedly given the same script. Cannot talk to a live person. The chat people are RUDE and hang up the chat making you have to go through the whole process again. They send you links that do not do what you asked for. This company is one big scam and I recommend you do your business elsewhere. They have a price match policy but no where for you to send the information to. I had to try and get answers, so I started a chat, hoping to finally reach a human.
Customer: I just placed an order less than five minutes ago and now the price for the exact same item is $32 cheaper. I want the price difference refunded. This is ridiculous.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the price change. Unfortunately, we cannot alter the price of an order after it has been completed.
Customer: That's unacceptable. Your site mentions a price match policy. The last chat just disconnected me. Are you a bot, too? I want to speak to a live person who can actually help me.
CS Rep: I am a live agent, and I sincerely apologize for your previous experience and this inconvenience. While I cannot refund the difference, I can cancel your current order right now so you can immediately re-purchase at the lower price.
Customer: Fine, just cancel it. I shouldn't have to go through all this trouble. This is the worst service I've ever experienced.
CS Rep: I completely understand. I have just cancelled your order and the confirmation has been emailed to you. I am truly sorry for the frustrating experience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
